1When an SD/SDHC card is used, the size of one file is limited to 4 GB. When an SDXC card is used, recording stops before the playback time reaches 3 hours.

High Frame Rates (240, 200, 120, or 100 fps) 3 hours of playback time or 4GB1

Notes

  • When recording normal frame rates to an SDXC card, movies up to 3 hours long can be recorded. Movies over 3 hours are recorded over multiple files (depending on shooting conditions, the camera may start recording to a new file before the 3‑hour limit is reached).
  • When recording normal frame rates to an SD/SDHC card, movies over 4GB in size are recorded over multiple files (depending on shooting conditions, the camera may start recording to a new file before the 4GB limit is reached).
  • When recording high frame rates to an SD/SDHC card, the size of one file is limited to 4 GB.
  • When recording high frame rates to an SDXC card, recording stops before the playback time reaches 3 hours.
  • An increase of the camera’s internal temperature may cause recording to stop before the maximum recording time is reached.
