1 If the recording time reaches 29 minutes and 59 seconds or the file size reaches 2GB (whichever occurs first), recording will stop automatically.
From our experiences and testing, the Sony aXXXX cameras are notorious for overheating during movie recording, especially in higher quality settings like 4K or S&Q. If you need assurance that the camera will not overheat during longer recording times, we highly recommend choosing another camera.
- An increase of the camera’s internal temperature may cause recording to stop before the maximum recording time is reached.
