Format Limit

1A new motion picture file will be created if the file size exceeds 4GB, but recording will continue without interruption.

2A new motion picture file will be created if the recording time exceeds 30 minutes or the file size exceeds 4GB (whichever occurs first), but recording will continue without interruption.

3When using an SDHC memory card: A new motion picture file will be created if the file size exceeds 4GB, but recording will continue without interruption.

4When using an SDXC memory card: A new motion picture file will be created if the recording time exceeds 3 hours, 4 minutes or the file size exceeds 96GB (whichever occurs first), but recording will continue without interruption.

Notes

  • Available recording time for various memory card sizes can be found on page 28 in the Panasonic DMC-G85 Owner’s Manual (English).
  • The maximum available continuous recording time will be displayed on the screen.
  • An increase of the camera’s internal temperature may cause recording to stop before the maximum recording time is reached.
